-My dog’s name is Lucky
-He is a labrador/corgi mix.
-He is 3 years old (in human years). 21 in dog years.
Lucky has been limping on one of his hind legs. (We think it’s his right?)
And he has not been able to go neither up nor down stairs by himself.
Whenever we try to help him, he growls and barks as if in pain so he refuses to go up.
He also limps on his hind leg when walking on a flat surface. He stumbles a bit too.
This has happened once before (about 3 months ago) and the vet never told us what was wrong. We didn’t take X-rays. The vet just examined his foot and gave us pain medication. She told us to come back in 2 weeks and he was better by then.
But now, it seems as if Lucky’s gotten worse. He also shakes when he’s in pain.
We’re going to find a better vet tomorrow, and get a check-up, but I just want some insight on what you think is going on.
Please help. I’m worried sick. 🙁
